RIDNR showcases open-source games. Each game belongs to its authors and stays under its original license, which is included in the game’s folder. Thank you to everyone who builds and shares games.
Modifications made to the bundled games
- Removed third-party analytics/advertising snippets bundled with some games (Hextris, Particle Clicker, Block Rain, Snake, Pixel Invaders, Tower Stack, A Dark Room).
- Hextris: removed a loader that injected a remote script from hextris.io.
- Pixel Invaders: original sound effects replaced with newly synthesized sounds.
- Connect Four: built files from the project’s gh-pages branch, asset URLs made relative.
- Sudoku, Particle Clicker: CDN libraries (jQuery, AngularJS, Bootstrap, Font Awesome) bundled locally.
- Astray: texture paths made relative.
For GPL- and MPL-licensed games (Hextris, Clumsy Bird, Space Huggers, A Dark Room), the complete corresponding source is the hosted folder plus the linked repository; these games remain under their original licenses.
Third-party libraries
Games may include libraries such as jQuery (MIT), AngularJS (MIT), Bootstrap (MIT), Font Awesome (SIL OFL / MIT), three.js (MIT), melonJS (MIT), chess.js / chessboard.js (BSD-2 / MIT) and LittleJS (MIT), each under its own license as shipped in the game folders.
